Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger
SigmaFIT Series
The SIGMAFIT distinguish itself with a computer based optimized residence time distribution. Thereby this line of products can be used without any restrictions to be used in applications, which require a homogeneous dwell time profile
Sigma X-Series (High Performance)
The X-series mainly demonstrates it’s advantages where the temperature differences between the cold and the hot products are very tight. The small material thickness of the X-series heat transfer plates reduces the heat transfer resistance additionally and leads to extremely high over all heat transfer coefficients.
Sigma F-Series (Free-Flow)
The corrugation pattern of the F-series shows free-flow sections which avoid blocking of the flow channels by solids or fibres. However the design of the plates allows a robust operation mode of the plate heat exchangers.
Sigma T-Series (Wide Gap)
Due to the wider flow channel geometry solids of bigger diameters can easily flow through the T-series plates. Also applications which require very low pressure losses can be covered by these plate types.
SigmaTWiN (Double Wall)
Schmidt designed the SIGMATWIN double-wall plate to achieve the specific demands for a heat exchanger plate as a safety plate.
All-Welded Plate Heat Exchanger
SigmaWig
SIGMAWIG plate heat exchangers are available in different sizes. The fact that the units are welded without filler metals, gives them a benefit regarding corrosion resistance. SIGMAWIG Series: ST 3 – ST 12/18 – ST 30/40.
SigmaShell
The new Series of SIGMASHELL shell & plate heat exchangers additionally enhances the field of application for plate heat exchangers.
Modular-Welded Plate Heat Exchanger
SigmaDUAL
Actually developed SIGMADUAL series with pair-wise welded plate modules for thermal treatment of sophisticated media.
Graphite Heat Exchangers
Graphite Blocks Heat Exchangers
Made of stacks of graphite blocks assembled with PTFE gaskets. The blocks are drilled in a row pattern an the heat is transferred through the graphite material. The corrosive medium flows through the axial process holes. The service medium passes through the horizontal block holes due to a metal baffle cage construction. The complete unit is maintained under compression with unique proprietary springs system.
G Tubes Heat Exchangers
Made of graphite tubes cemented between two graphie tubesheets. The bundle is introduced in a metal or FRP shell. The corrosive medium flows in the tube side. The service medium passes in the shell side through baffle made of graphite, metal or plastic.
The complete unit is maintained under compression with Schmidt unique preprietary springs system STABLE LOAD®.
